Corso
The Corso Fluegelhorn model 4041 is the result of research of a detailed study of stylistic design and of the development of the conical proportions of the pipe. This instrument was created by professor Morselli together with the prize winning company, Mario Corso. Features include a 7" bell with a .475" bore in lacquer finish.
Professional
(in B- flat)
with trigger
Third valve slide trigger makes it easy to maintain intonation. (YFH-6310ZS silver-plated model pictured.)
Vertical valve tubing:
Traditionally, flugelhorns are made with vertical valve tubing.
Monel pistons:
are resistant to corrosion and are an ideal choice for professional flugelhorn pistons which must retain precise fit and smooth action
over many years.
Hand-lapped pistons and slides:
ensures an absolutely perfect fit and seal between the pistons and casing or slide parts. Such a perfect fit helps to
achieve smooth air flow and smooth action and improve the response and intonation of the instrument.
Movable mouthpiece receiver:
Tuning is made easier with the movable mouthpiece receiver.
Pressure formed tubing:
Perfectly rounded tubing results in less turbulence and a smoother air flow, thus allowing for an excellent scale and reduced resistance.
Laser-fused pluzuma welded bell:
A high-energy laser fuses the brass together for a virtually seamless bell which allows continuous even vibrations.
Available features:
The YFH-6310Z flugelhorn is available in a silver-plated finish. It is available with a gig bag or without a case.
